The Ultimate Sailor Moon Musical – Sera Myu – Guide

This information is compiled from the best sites around (Eternal Legend, SeraMyu Antics, WikiMoon, various Sera Myu pamphlets, our brains…). If you feel anything is wrong or missing, feel free to comment and we can discuss it. Anyway, without further ado:

Important terminology:
Fan Kan – Fan Kansha (Appreciation) Event. When released on video, they are sold only at the musical performances and are not available in stores.
Graduation – When an actor/actress leaves the musicals, it’s called “graduating”.
Guide Video – Sometimes called “Koshiki” (official) guide video. A video sold only at the musical performances. This is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the musical. It usually includes Fan Kan, rehearsal, and photo shoot footage.
Kaiteiban – Literally “revision”. Most musicals have a “revision” version that is performed the next season. These feature changes in storyline, cast, and songs and have a “power-up” philosophy to them.
Omake – Literally means “bonus”. It typically indicates the bonus footage included on preordered VHS or the DVD version of the musical. Those usually include rehearsal and last day footage, among other things.
Senshuuraku – The final performance of a musical.
Stages/Generations – The musicals can be categorized by “stages”. Each stage – or 代 (“Dai” = generation) as these divisions are known in Japan – is defined as a group of musicals led by one Moon actress. Since there are 5 Moon actresses so far – Anza, Fumina, Miyuki, Marina, and Satomi – there are 5 stages at this time. There are other systems (and other usages of the term “stage”) but for simplicity’s sake we use this one here.

You forgot to add that Miss Dream subbed “2000 Summer Special Musical Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Kessen / Transylvania no Mori -Shin Toujou! ChibiMoon wo Mamoru Senshi Tatsu-”

Also, it looks like InnocentAmi’s sub of Kaguya Shima Densetsu is an incomplete version. It might be worth us subbing in the future, so that all the musicals have complete subs.

Oh dang – I haven’t updated this list in quite some time but I will make that correction. Jeaz, we’ve been lazy with musicals. ~___~
I didn’t know that InnocentAmi’s sub was incomplete, but I’ll mark that in the notes as well. Thank you for this! :)

Thank you very much! Just made a major update to this page. Now if anyone can tell me who was Metalia’s voice actress in La Reconquista, that would make the cast list even more complete. :D

Hi GG! Glad you liked it! This is a work in progress though. Elly has gathered so much information, and I’m trying to fill in the remaining gaps – and hopefully to add more info as more Myus are produced! Feel free to point out anything that might be improved in the future.

Just one tiny note! Under Mars, Iwana Misako and Kotani Misako are the same person. “Iwana” is the last name she goes by now (probably her married name). :)

Shoot, I missed that Iwana upstairs! Many thanks for pointing it out! There are several actresses who changed their names. I chose to use the ones they were going under when performing in Sera Myu.

Page updated with performance statistics of all the Myus, and some ladies-in-waiting from La Reconquista. :) Statistics are mostly taken from eternal.legend and WikiMoon. There is an inconsistency in Starlights Ryuusei Densetsu in what the last day was – August 30th or 31st. Any confirmation here would be greatly appreciated. :)

Added some info about the upcoming musical Petite Étrangère and some uncredited characters, namely the voice of Chaos in Kakyuu-Ouhi Kourin and the second person to act as Neo Queen Serenity in Black Lady Kaiteiban (when Marina is on stage as Sailor Moon).

Edit: somehow part of the updates got eaten by the layout-change. I hope I’ve got them all back again. If you notice anything weird (missing entries/lines), feel free to comment.

Finally got around to add links to all the musicals that have been subbed (english) by the group Sea of Serenity! As always, feel free to comment if you notice anything broken or weird or missing.

Minor Update. Added some info and completed the cast list for Petite Étrangère, and added some more uncredited characters. Also added links to 3 new subs by SeaofSerenity.
