If you didn’t localize anything, where are the Japanese sound effects? That’s pretty localized to me :|

Translating and localizing are not the same thing.
Translation is when you place the English equivalent of a Japanese word. Localization is when you take the Japanese word, and find an American slang term or cultural reference that would make sense to an English-speaking audience in a specific target country.
An example of localization would be taking a line of dialogue in Japanese about being bad at Ayumi Hamasaki karaoke and replacing it with a reference to singing Britney Spears songs at a sleepover party. It’s not an accurate translation at all, but leaving the original translation intact wouldn’t make much sense to any Americans who weren’t familiar with JPOP.
All of the sound effects found in the original Japanese are included and translated in our downloads. But in any case, enjoy the Kodansha release!
