From Wikipedia:
“Tokyopop magazine, originally named MixxZine, was a manga anthology published in North America by Tokyopop. When MixxZine was renamed Tokyopop in July 1999, the focus was changed to an “Asian culture magazine”, which included manga and articles on J-pop, video games, and anime. Only a few manga titles were published in the magazine until it was discontinued in 2000.”
Although Sailor Moon’s manga was not published in Tokyopop magazine, there are several articles about the anime series, as well as other information about late 1990s – 2000s J-Culture and Anime. Definitely a cool find – this publication only lasted a little over a year, so it’s pretty hard to find nowadays!
