Miss Dream Turns 15: Prize Giveaway!

This year, we’re celebrating a magical milestone- 15 incredible years of Miss Dream!

Since 2010, Miss Dream has been dedicated to preserving, translating, and sharing the world of Sailor Moon with fans around the globe. What began as a small fan project has grown into one of the most trusted and comprehensive English-language resources for all things Sailor Moon. From rare manga scans and musical subtitles to in-depth interviews and guidebooks, Miss Dream has always strived to make even the rarest content accessible to everyone. Our goal has never changed: honor the legacy of Sailor Moon and support the community that loves her.

To mark our 15th anniversary, we want to hear from you. Sailor Moon has touched countless lives over the decades, and we want to celebrate those personal stories.

We’re giving away $500 worth of Sailor Moon prizes and 10 free premium memberships to Miss Dream, and entering is easy:

📝 Share a short story about how Sailor Moon has impacted your life.
Whether it’s something that inspired you, helped you through a tough time, or sparked your creativity.

How to Enter:
1. Upload your photo and story using our giveaway submission form.
2. Make sure to use a valid address email—we’ll be contacting winners directly through the one you provide.

Deadline: December 13th, 2025. Winners will be announced on December 20th, 2025.

Introducing the Miss Dream Discord

Thanks to the efforts of ShiningVenus, I am pleased to announce that we now have a Discord server!

Please join us for discussions of all things Sailor Moon or about the site itself.

We are also planning to host karaoke sessions via this server in the future, so if you love Sailor Moon music, please join us. I know I’ll be checking out our lyrics section to jog my memory…

Miss Dream Back Online

Hello Everyone!

We are happy to be back online! We have been working on revamping the site and structure, and the backbone of this work is in good shape! We have prepared the following:

1) New Members Only section

We have digitized and cataloged 40 years of vintage magical girl manga series materials. This contains a fully searchable library by author, magazine name, and manga series name. We are really proud of this addition as it has taken over a decade of research and data management to create, not to mention the logistics of sourcing and shipping (and paying!) for the original prints. This and much more can be accessed via the members only portal for a donation towards server costs of $5/month. You will be able to sign up directly through the website and cancel your membership at any time. Our existing Patreon members may also enroll free of cost. Details for Patreon members will be posted there shortly. Additionally, some free memberships are available for those who are working in a research capacity and who are facing economic hardship. Please email Dan at [email protected] for details of how to subscribe if this is your situation.

2) Improvements to filtering, sorting, and searching across the site have been added. Both raw and translated doujinshi have had their landing portal pages upgraded, as has our translated lyrics landing page. Other sections are in progress, please keep an eye here for updates.

3) Site navigation and landing page has been simplified for ease of access. Some minor graphic design changes have been made throughout the site to improve compatibility with mobile devices

r/sailormoon Partnership

Hello everyone! We are excited to announce a new partnership with r/sailormoon, a subreddit for fans of the Sailor Moon franchise. They have recently had a shift in moderation teams, in which Elly engaged with the new team to not only un-ban Miss Dream linking, but take part in promotion of each other. We thank them for the hard work they’ve done during this reset, and hope that you consider taking part in the community there!

In other news, we have deactivated our Twitter/X account. As Jewish content creators, we stand against Nazism and fascism.
