Cait: Published this week, the First Visual Book isn’t entirely comprehensive. There are things obviously left out, like details on Sailor Venus’s transformation. But, what we have gotten reads and looks like a news magazine for everything that has been released and produced thus far in this whirlwind Sailor Moon revival. Included are: Momoiro Clover Z photo sets, interviews, and behind the scenes content. Character designs and profiles for all characters who have appeared on screen thus far. A look into the backdrops and storyboards used to render the animation. Interviews with, among others, Mitsuishi Kotono aka the voice of Sailor Moon herself. Also, a pretty comprehensive merchandise list and a look at the current musical. The included DVD had three tracks: A trailer with Momoiro Clover Z’s singing in the background, a trailer with only BGM, and video of the Nico Nico Chokaigi3 Sailor Moon panel/presentation from the spring.
