Nakayoshi Rush – 1995 Start

Happy Miss Dream Monday everyone! This past week has seemed to calm down on the Sailor Moon news for a bit, and while it’s been exciting, it’s also nice to have a bit of a break. In the sense of trying to keep up on events in close to real time at least, since we still intend to update at least once a week. This week, Nakayoshi Rush continues! We round up 1994 with the December issue, and also have the entire first quarter of 1995 posted for your viewing and downloading pleasure! That’s all for this week, next week we will have more issues coming online, and if things happen through the week, we will be on top of it! Also, don’t forget that this Sunday is Senshi Matsuri, the Sailor Moon centric convention being held in NYC. A number of Miss Dream staff members will be in attendance, where we will be holding a trivia panel and taking part in general shenanigans. In attendance will be myself, sassypants678, James, Pixeluna, Jen, Dragonicsoul, and Izam. We’re looking forward to it, and hope to see some of you there!

I’m a little confused. The discription of the january issue says that there’s no Sailor Moon inside. But when I take a look at the gallery there is a Sailor Moon chapter. I don’t know if the gallery is wrong or the download. And if this issue does contain Sailor Moon, does it mean that the other updated issues have been given wrong chapter numbers?

Could you find that out for me before I try downloading it? I have very few space left on my harddrive. Sorry to bother you. (and excuse my bad English, haha)

      Hello,

Upon further review of our Nakayoshi Publication Database of Naoko Takeuchi’s Works, it looks like you are correct: our current numbering system of which chapters appear in which volume of Nakayoshi are incorrect. I am doing a complete re-work of the database to relabel the pages. It doesn’t look like “acts” appear in Nakayoshi so much as 30-40 pages at a time, and the way the chapters were published in books doesn’t have much to do with how they originally appeared in the magazines. I’ll keep you posted. Sorry for the inconvenience – this is going to take a while for me to fix.

There’s an ancient Egypt themed magical girl comic in several of these issues, do you know what it’s called?
