Happy Sunday Miss Dreamers! We hope you’ve been enjoying Viz’s new dub of Sailor Moon as well as the new episode of Sailor Moon Crystal, all of which came about this weekend. Early this morning (for our time zone, last night in Japan), Sailor Moon Petite Étrangère was finally broadcast via Niconico Japan region. Thanks to Aers00, we have a recording of the show that James, sassypants678, and DJ are working on as I type this. As of this typing, the first 20% of the musical’s translation is done, plus 70% of the total songs.
To preempt any questions, no, we do not have a solid estimate as to when this will be completed. If we compare this to last year, La Reconquista first streamed early Saturday morning (our zone), so we’re at least 24 hours “behind” so to speak. As we all have to go back to work tomorrow, free time will be used to get this done as soon as we can. It will get done when it gets done, we’re trying to have that be as quick as possible. I would be shocked if it were ready tonight.
With all that said, I have finished ripping all of the songs from the broadcast, making this unofficial “album” available for download!
