From 2004 to 2005, Kodansha released a number of TV Photo Books for the series Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. The books were essentially re-caps of the plot of Sailor Moon, using images and lines straight from the show. This is the first book from a series of Kodansha PGSM TV Photo Books released.

Very indicative of Japanese culture: the back cover gives no mention of Kenji-papa, even though he is around in the manga and anime. Although perhaps it’s only because he’s nigh-on invisible in the live action.
