New Interview Translations and More Nakayoshi

Happy Miss Dream Monday everyone! In today’s update, we have two highly anticipated interview translations ready to share with everyone! The first interview rounds up our Sailor Moon: La Reconquista coverage. Some of you may recall a couple months ago, we posted the October 2013 issue of Hyper Hobby magazine, containing an interview with all five of the Sailor Soldiers, as well as the production staff! This is one of the biggest interviews (if not THE biggest) thus far, and is well worth the full read. Please enjoy this massive translation!

Today’s second interview translation is also highly anticipated, as it is the final part of ROLa magazine’s interview with Naoko Takeuchi! The series finally comes to an end with another enjoyable read, that even dips into her thoughts on the international releases of Sailor Moon! It also features a chat with Osabu and some discussion of the merchandise.

First off is new translator Muffy, who did a great job on her first project with us! The graphical design work for this was done by xosailormars, also a first project! Also thank you to Yen-sama for quick rushing one of the pages found to be missing hours ago when I started this post. x_x

Massive Raw Sailor Moon Doujinshi Section Online!

Happy Miss Dream Monday everyone! We hope y’all had a wonderful Thanksgiving this past weekend, with plenty of food and a lot to be thankful for. This week, we believe that our scans can be added to your list, as we are bringing a lot your way today! We will start off with posting up the massive new section for raw Sailor Moon doujinshi! These scans were donated by a person who wishes to remain anonymous a couple years ago, which we finally have able to finish and bring online! We would like to thank this person for their donations, and also thank staff member Pixeluna for coding this new section! Staff members Cyborgarmgun and Messenger Star also put in time converting these files into more that just the RAR archives and PDFs that we normally offer. These downloads are also available in EPUB, CBP, and MOBI files for various devices! The new raw Sailor Moon doujinshi section has over 140 stories for you to enjoy! And along the lines of new file conversations and new code, our scanlated Sailor Moon Doujinshi section has been revamped in this same method! Some of you may have seen this earlier last week when we had to switch it over earlier than expected (and when I posted as such on Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr when it happened, you should follow us in one or more of those places if you don’t already!). We hope you enjoy this new format, which we intend to eventually plan to have working all throughout the site over time!

That’s not all of the raws coming online today, we have another new section today! Also online is a number of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon books! Kodansha and Shogakukan both releases a series of picture books based off of the live action series. We have six of these online for y’alls downloading and reading pleasure!

We have some translated material today as well. Going along the line of TV picture books, the original anime had a number of them released back in the 1990s. We had already posted the raw version of this book a while ago, now you can enjoy a scanlation of Kodansha TV Picture Book – Volume 6 – Sailor Jupiter Appears!

This week’s Nakayoshi Rush is special, as it has six issues posted instead of the normal five. As it is the first Monday of a new month, we put online today last month’s publication, Nakayoshi November 2013. It contains many of today’s popular shoujo stories, as well as advertisements for the kanzenban edition of the Sailor Moon manga to soon be released in Japan. Our five postings continue our journey through 1987, with June, July, August, September, and October coming online! While these issues don’t contain any work from Naoko Takeuchi, they contain plenty of awesome classic shoujo manga!

Scanlations of German Sailor Fanbuch Series begins!

Happy Miss Dream Monday everyone! Today, we start off with a new scanlation section! If you recall, last week we posted up the entire German Sailor Fanbuch collection and made mention of our hopes to translate these into English. Today, we start our postings of these scanlations in the new German Sailor Fanbuch English Scanlations section! We kick off this section with three books being posted online (in no special order): Sailor Moon, Crystal Tokyo, and Haruka and Michiru! Please note while reading these translations, that these books are essentially the German equivalent of our Tokyopop and other releases. This means that the books may not necessarily reflect accurate information in comparison to the show. This is most notable when these books print out “Rea” instead of “Rei” and so on. These are direct translations of the books, and to maintain the integrity of these translations, nothing canon has been “fixed” as a result. With that being said, please enjoy these translations!
