This week’s update has many news in the Sailor Moon world, over the past week! Ranging from baseball, to Sera Myu, and everything else in between.

Sailor Moon Crystal Day at the Golden Eagles Game

Sailor Moon had a presence at the Rakuten Golden Eagles ballgame, where it had it’s Rakuten Girl-themed day, with Sailor Moon as it’s ambassador.

And what better way to represent Sailor Moon than the seiyuu herself, Kotono Mitsuishi!

Osabu tweeted this, saying for the fans to root for the Golden Eagles:


The Golden Eagles go on to win their game, 6-1, with a grand slam from Carlos Peguero, securing their first place in the Pacific League standings.

Usagi’s Birthday Event to be a Screening Special

Speaking of Kotono Mitsuishi, she’ll also be attending the special screening event on Usagi’s birthday, June 30th, as they’ll show Sailor Moon Crystal Season III‘s 2-parter season premiere, along with Sailor Moon R movie, inside the Marunouchi Toei theater. Joining her will be the R movie director, Kunihiko Ikuhara, and a “special guest”. July 1st’s screening will only show the R movie. More info on the event is on Anime News Network’s post.

There’s also a lottery for the Pretty Guardains Fan Club, starting May 31 to June 4, with winners announced on June 6.

This event will become a yearly tradition for Sailor Moon fans.

Le Mouvement Final Promotion Shows Princess Kakyuu & the Sailor Star Lights!

Last week, the Official Sailor Moon 25th Anniversary site revealed Kakyuu and the Star Lights, in costume, for the upcoming Le Mouvement Final musical. We expect more promotional posters featuring Galaxia and the Sailor Animamates very soon.

Previous Sera Myu actress to play Sailor Cosmos in Le Mouvement Final

On May 18th, the official Sailor Moon 25th Anniversary page announced the latest addition to the cast of Le Mouvement Final.

In the visual shown, Sailor Cosmos, which appears in the last two acts of the manga, as the last remaining senshi from the distant future, where everything is destroyed by Chaos, is being played by the graduated Sera Myu castmate, Satomi Okubo, who played Sailor Moon from 2013-2015!

We added her into our Le Mouvement Final page, where you can bookmark it, and keep up-to-date on the latest news, just like this!

Torrent Link Transfer Status

Last week, our torrents have been resurfaced on nyaa.pantsu.cat, after nyaa.se shut down. This week, we re-linked our torrents to its magnet links, so you can directly torrent them from their respective pages here, and not have to go to its page on nyaa.pantsu, to torrent them. Currently, we re-linked the majority of the magazines in the Back Issues of Nakayoshi and Other Magazines page, as well as the ones in the Sera Myu page.

Sailor Moon: Le Mouvement Final Details Revealed

Last week, the official Sailor Moon 25th Anniverary site revealed details on the upcoming musical, including the cast, performance dates, and story, which takes place during the Sailor Stars arc.

BREAKING NEWS: Nyaa Torrents has been shut down…by DNS

We’re regret to inform you that the torrent site that we use, Nyaa Torrents, has been officially shut down as of May 1st, 2017. The reason for such is that United Kingdom’s recently passed law, the Digital Economy Bill, which lands people in jail for 10 years for sharing files, that infringes copyright law, on a site. That means torrent sites, like Nyaa, will be impacted by this law. You can read more about this by clicking on the Torrent Freak article here. The owners of Nyaa Torrents reacted by shutting the site down, to prevent damages that may follow, if they get caught. Even their DNS register of the domain was removed.

Here’s the notification left by the former Nyaa staff, on Pastebin:

On May 1, 2017, NyaaTorrents officially ceased operations.
At time of this writing, nothing remains of the site. These are actions taken by the owner of the site and not a result of some form of internal subversion or engagement by government or legal entities.
The exact reasons for shutdown remain a mystery to all but the anonymous owner, but remaining former NT associates are led to believe that based on the circumstances surrounding closure, it was in response to recent court rulings that had the potential to affect site operations in the future. Rather than face this possibility, and any repercussions it would have on all parties involved, the owner decided to bring everything to a complete end. Based on operating principles, nothing will remain of the original site and all content, to include back-end, front-end, and all databases, has likely been purged.

There are no plans to continue any activity under the NyaaTorrents banner.
Any projects that occur from here on out are not associated with the original site.

The above serves as an official statement by what remains of the site.
Further questions can be directed via IRC to those remaining in #NyaaTorrents on irc.rizon.net.

This is heartbreaking for us, as we love to share Sailor Moon content, including the live-action PGSM episodes and Sera Myus, through that site, so everyone can use the torrent option to download them. We like to thank the site’s owners for making that site a success, and hope they can work this out.
