Happy Miss Dream Monday everyone! We’ve got a nice update lined up for you today, consisting of both more raws and translated Sailor Moon doujinshi! We will start off today with yet another raws expansion, this time not in English or Japanese, but German! Today, we post online the entire German Sailor Fanbuch collection! You may recall that earlier in the year, we had posted online Nakayoshi Pretty Soldiers Official Fan Books. In Germany, Diamond Publishing translated these five into their own language. Due to the immense popularity of those items in Germany, Diamond Publishing eventually expanded on the line, creating 22 books in all. 17 of the 22 books are completely original works which you can’t find anywhere else. Thanks to the help of staff members Messenger Star and P-chan, we have obtained full scans of the entire collection of these books. They are difficult to find and expensive, particularly if you live in North America. We hope to offer English translations for this line of books in the near future; in the meantime, please enjoy these German originals!
Today is also a good day for Sailor Moon doujinshi fans, as we post four stories online today! You may recall a month or so ago that I had mentioned we had been commissioned to translate a number of Sailor Moon doujinshi stories by a patron who wishes to be anonymous, who was also gracious enough to let them be published to the site! Being posted for y’all’s enjoyment is twomore stories from the “Rainbow Over the Moon” series, the first posting from us in the “Pretty Soldiers Sailormoon” series of books, as well as another story of “Lyrical Fairy Lady.” With today’s update, we have completed the “Rainbow Over the Moon” series, with the exception of Volume 6, “Cherry Tree Petal,” by Blue Lynx. This is the only volume we have been unable to obtain raws of. If anyone has this or knows where we can obtain this, please contact Elly so we can complete this series!
This week, we are also bringing back Nakayoshi Rush! We have quite the queue we have worked out, and have months of postings to go through! Just like through the spring and summer, we plan to have at least five issues posted each week until the queue is empty, which will take some months! This version of Nakayoshi Ruch is a bit special, since three of the five postings aren’t Nakayoshis, but magazines just like them. We will start with RunRun May 1994 which features Chapter 10 of Codename: Sailor V! We have more rare Naoko Takeuchi goodness with the May 2006 Nakayoshi issue that contains the final chapter of Toki Meca! And for an even more rare finding of Naoko Takeuchi, we have the August 2009 issue of Shounen Rival that contains art only ever printed in this issue! We’re also posting the March 2013 issue of Shounen Rival as we had purchased that not knowing which issue back when Osabu has first tweeted about it. We round up this Nakayoshi Rush with the October 2013 issue keeping up with the delayed postings of current issues.
And that will end off the new content today! As always until everything is gone, please buy stuff from our garage sale! You can own these goods for a fraction of the normal cost, with the added benefit knowing that these were used to generate content on this site! We hope you enjoy the complete Sailor Fanbuch collection, as well as the new doujinshi that we’ve translated, and the return of Nakayoshi Rush! In the coming weeks, we hope to post our translations of the Sailor Fanbuch collection, as well as our backlog collection of Nakayoshi magazines. We have surprises up our sleeve for Sailor Moon doujinshi fans as well. We never stop working here! We hope you enjoy today’s addition of the Sailor Fanbuch collection and doujinshi, as well as everything else already available on the site! See you next week!
Happy Miss Dream Monday everyone! Tonight we have another nice edition of Monday Night Raws, finishing up some odd and ends abound. First off, we finally complete our collection of Naoko Takeuchi books, with the novel version of Maria being added today. Maria was written my Naoko Takeuchi and Marie Koizumi, and is a retelling of the story, “Daddy Longlegs.” Previously, we only had the comic version, now the novel has been acquired, scanned, and posted for all of you to enjoy! Celebrate with us the end of the quest of posting all of the books Naoko Takeuchi worked on! =D
Next up, we continue posts in another section, the Sailor Moon Collectable Card Game page! Thanks to staff member Cyborgarmgun who has been scanning her collection for us, we add not one, but two official rule books! The first one was included with the packs that sold in the first run, making it quite common. For a while this was the be-all end-all rule book, however, a second edition was made with the release of the Past and Future decks. This was only ever posted in these decks, and these days is a rare find!
Lastly, also with material donated by Cyborgarmgun, we start off yet another raw downloads portal, in the form of Sailor Moon Assorted Downloads! Kicking off this new section is the North American Sailor Moon 2001 calendar! As with many calendars, this is full of images for each individual month. Even though this was published after the S and SuperS seasons were dubbed, as this was sub-licensed through DiC, like the majority of North American Sailor Moon products, it features images from the Classic and R seasons. Images range from high-quality screen captures from special scenes and even the opening videos!
And that will end up this week. Be sure to come back next week as we continue more and more surprises! There will be no hints this time as to what. =P I’m sure you will enjoy what we have in store for you, as well as today’s postings and everything else we have. Speaking of enjoyment, y’all should enjoy Miss Dream history, and buy things in our garage sale! There’s still a good amount of stock available, own what was used to bring these digital galleries and downloads online! See y’all next week!
Happy Miss Dream Monday everyone! We hope you enjoyed our occasional garage sale, where we sell off materials used to make the galleries and downloads all throughout the site! If you didn’t get a chance to buy anything, don’t fret! There is still plenty of merchandise to buy at drastically reduced prices compared to what they were purchased for! Also, be sure to check out our auction containing near-perfect Nakayoshi magazines containing ALL of PQ Angels! As many of you know, these issues were the only place these chapters were ever printed. Now you have a chance to own the entire story as printed, not taken apart! Check this out and the sale, which will go on until everything is gone!
This week, we return to expanding our raws section with the book we’ve been teasing for months, the first Kodansha Sailor Moon Picture Collection book! This book is fairly rare enough as it is, with scans of this caliber being even more so. A very big thank you goes to staff member Cyborgarmgun, who graciously lent us her copy to tear apart (as we tortured our twitter followers in this video posting last month), making these high quality scans possible! I took a lot of time and care, manually scanning each individual page to ensure the best scan possible. We hope you enjoy the first Sailor Moon Picture Collection book even more than ever before!
Next up, we continue our raws expansion with four Japanese magazines being posted for your pleasure. The first of these four is the November 2013 issue of ROLa magazine. ROLa magazine is a bi-monthly publication featuring popular Japanese culture news, specifically geared toward young women. This is the second issue, featuring the second part of the first interview with Sailor Moon series creator Naoko Takeuchi in over a decade. A famous Japanese pop-culture icon, Shounen Aya (think the Japanese version of Perez Hilton) has an on-going segment where he does interviews with “icons” within the Japanese pop culture world. To read an English translation of the Naoko Takeuchi featured in this magazine, click here! Next up is the October 2013 issue of Engeki Book. Engeki Book is a Japanese monthly periodical which focuses on the theater and musical scene in Tokyo. This issue features an interview with the actresses for Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus from “Sera Myu” Sailor Moon La Reconquista. You can read a translated version of the interview here. COntinuting on is the October 2013 issue of Hyper Hobby Japan. Hyper Hobby Japan is a monthly periodical that focuses mainly on Japanese tokusatsu series, figurines, and sentai merchandise. This particular issue features a one-page interview with Osano Fumio about Sailor Moon La Reconquista, with the translation of this interview coming soon. Rounding out this batch is the August 2013 issue of Nylon Japan. Nylon Japan is a monthly Japanese fashion periodical. This issue is note-worthy because it features an article with Sailor Moon cosplay, which we are undecided on if we will translate it or not yet. But this won’t stop you from enjoying the pictures throughout!
Thanks to kyokochan, another flyer has been added to our Sailor Moon: La Reconquista page. This can be found at the bottom with the rest. Thank you for letting us know of this and sharing it with us!
Last but not least, staff member Misty has finished another Kodansha error guide. This one encompasses the recent Sailor Moon Short Stories 1 book that came out recently. Definitely well worth the read! It is very comprehensive as always!
And that will end off the week! It’s been great being back in the swing of things following our gallery software nightmare coming to a close, and it’s especially satisfying to finally have the first Sailor Moon Picture Collection book online! We were very happy having the chance to make these scans, and be able to share the contents of this amazing Sailor Moon Picture Collection book in a very high quality! Next week, we will likely have a couple more raw downloads added in, and possibly more to come as well! Until then, we hope you enjoy the new additions of the Sailor Moon Picture Collection book, the magazines, flyer, and error guide! Again, please check out the garage sale and complete PQ Angels in Nakayoshi auction! See you next week!
UPDATE!!:Guys this is CyborgArmGun And I regret to inform everyone, but It has been confirmed by Sarah Ruth Forde (Sakky) that my Artbook is in fact a Bootleg. I apologize about this, and am flipping tables over it. Hopefully you at least like the hires scans of the bootleg in the meantime. I at least would like to have a legit copy to scan for you guys, but they are very expensive, so there will be some discussion on how to obtain legit copies. For now it is up in the air on how we will obtain them, BUT!! we do plan on working a way out so that we can. Please bide with us for my personal mistake, and I apologize profusely.
Payment is due at the time of purchase. I will not hold items. The default shipping method is USPS Media Mail.
I will not ship outside of the continental United States EXCEPT for large purchases (over $100+)
All items ship sealed in clean room ziploc bags which prevent page yellowing.
For this release, James went crazy and retimed and subtitled two more of the performances! This Sailor Moon La Reconquista bulk pack not only has our original release, but two additional performances. In this pack, added in are the September 22nd run, as well as the final performance! There are additional pieces of content after these performances. The September 22nd show has a talk show with Yamato Yuuga (Chiba Mamoru / Tuxedo Mask ), Osano “Osabu” Fumio (Kodansha editor who worked directly with Naoko Takeuchi), and Yoshio Kataoka (Sailor Moon La Reconquista procucer). This is a fun watch, just as the other promotional materials have been. The Sailor Moon La Reconquista final performance has heartfelt goodbyes and comments from all of the actresses, giving their thanks and sharing memories of their time together.
This Sailor Moon La Reconquista bulk pack also includes our unofficial soundtrack of the performance. While yes, this is once again obtained from the performance, the quality of these tracks is superior to that of our original compilation. These are also obtained from the final performance, so you might even notice some other differences! To cap off the Sailor Moon La Reconquista bulk pack is a wonderful Sailor Moon La Reconquista pamphlet compilation. Staff member Serenity842003 put together a wonderful PDF containing high quality scans by Wild Mushroomland, inserting separate pages of our translation into the mix. It came out really well, and makes this program much more portable and enjoyable for all.
While on the topic of the Sailor Moon La Reconquista pamphlet, we are offering a high quality raw, courtesy again of Wild Mushroomland. This kicks off a new portal page in our raws section, focused on Seramyu Pamphlets! While it is only this one to start, scans for more are on the way!
Today we also announce a new addition to our affiliates section, Ai-no-Senshi.net! It is a wonderful fansite that we’re sure y’all will enjoy as much as we do! =)
And that’s all for this week! Over the next few weeks, we have more raws planned to process and post, and other projects might come to life as well. We’ll see what comes to light. However one thing I know for sure is that late this week, Miss Dream Garage Sale 3 begins! We will have a lot of Nakayoshi for sale, unbound and bound, as well as many more publication! We took inventory over the weekend, and should have this page up and ready this weekend. Look forward to it! Please enjoy the Sailor Moon La Reconquista bulk pack and the high quality raws, and we will see you next time! =D
Please consider donating to help keep Miss Dream going!
